Adidas Adipower Weightlifting II Shoe - Men's
Core Black / Carbon / Core Black

The revolutionary weightlifting shoe originally developed for the London Olympic Games continues its evolution, as the new Men’s AdiPower II from Adidas introduces an updated design that finds performance improvement through simplicity.

The AdiPower II weightlifting shoe features a “regular fit” suited to almost any foot; a specifically configured heel height of 20.1mm (optimized for Oly snatch and clean & jerk movements); and a strap & laces closing system for a truly locked-down midfoot. As has always been the case, dependable support, stability, and unique comfort are essential to this design, and are now assisted by an updated TPU midsole, reinforced heel and forefoot, padded rearfoot, and a strong woven upper material that’s both breathable and glove-like in fit.

The precision-built, load-bearing design of the AdiPower II is geared around providing a strong foundation for any workout—up to the standards of serious lifters at the highest levels of competition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit I love these shoes. They fit very well and I hope they continue producing this colorway. Simple is better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe I had to write this review. But I purchased these and I bought them just right size wise. I normally float between 9.5 or a 10. Very rarely do I stick to a 9 or 10.5. Anyways, the shoe fit snug all around. While I am did barbell step ups I felt as though they would perform well which they did. I completed my program then put them back on to test them out.. I went and did squats and my feet were anchored in and did move an inch while under the weight. Then came the deadlifts which my feet were glued down. Nothing came apart. These shoes had mixed reviews on YouTube but I liked the style and gave it a shot. Could be more satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe I previously used the adi powerlift shoes, I picked up a pair of these and I’m glad I did, sizing is pretty true to size, they’re a bit narrow so maybe go up half a size if you have a wide foot otherwise they are perfect - not shaky at all with 600lb squats, makes the feet feel solid, I highly recommend them to anyone training seriously

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All Black This is my first pair of lifters and I'm really happy with them so far. I love that they're available in an all black colourway!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Worthy Upgrade from the Original Adipowers I wore my original adipowers for about 5 years and always had the same gripes about them. Outsole material and tread design weren't optimal. Lace design was ugly with a large space between the last and 2nd to last lace holes resulting in folded up and wrinkled material in that area that sometimes you can feel on split jerks, not only that it was very ugly. The toebox was entirely too flexible and the colorways weren't that great (mine was red/black). These are an upgrade on EVERY aspect of the originals. The colors and design are aesthetically pleasing. The toe box is a bit stiffer and more stable, especially on split jerks. The outsole is better designed and an improved material and I feel less slippage and more stability from the design. The upper material and inner cushion make it a more comfortable shoe to wear as well. I purchased the all black version on Rogue before they offered the whites anywhere except Adidas UK. Now that Rogue has them it looks like I'll be snagging a 2nd pair!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These Shoes Arf Ucking Awesome! It's unreal how stable and locked-in these shoes feel! 100% satisfied with my purchase. Best lifting shoes ever!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Comfortable but I Prefer The Originals This shoe is very comfortable but I believe the originals (Adipower I) are better. To me, it seems the heel is higher (not sure what the specs are) but then quickly ends whereby the arch and metatarsal plantar surface of the feet are not well supported by a firm plantar surface. True, I try to drive through the midfoot/heels during my lifts but inevitably I do tend to get some drive from the arch and metatarsal region. The lack of solid plantar support in the arch and metatarsal region combined with the higher (perceived or real) heel height tends to force me onto my toes during the drive phase of the lift more than I want and **may be possibly** contributing to some anterior knee pain I have recently developed which I did not have with my older shoes. Also, these are more cheaply built as the Adipower I's are more robustly stitched and uses a stronger metal loop for the strap.
