Do-Win Classic Lifter
Black

The original Rogue weightlifting shoe, the Do-Win, is back in a re-launched “Classic” edition, available here in three colorway choices: Black & White, Red & White, and Blue & White.

As longtime Rogue athletes will know, the Do-Win Lifter was the very first lifting shoe ever sold through Rogue Fitness, starting back in 2007. This simple, precision design—with its 0.75” heel-to-toe drop, ample ventilation, and lock-down stability—earned a devoted following from the amateur ranks to the highest levels of competition. And while plenty has changed in the worlds of CrossFit and weightlifting over the past decade, a classic never goes out of style.

The Do-Win Classic Lifter includes a suede and mesh upper with a rounded toe shape (just like the old-school version had). Two hook-and-loop tarsal straps + nylon webbing backers ensure a firm, custom fit, and each heel is crafted from stacked layers of genuine leather. Like the originals, the effective heel-to-toe drop of the Do-Win is approx. 0.75” (19mm).

Please Note, however, that this exact measurement can vary slightly depending on the size of the shoe.

Good quality
Great quality, really allows me to feel comfortable on squat with the heel. It’s a more subtle shoe, so good for anyone looking for a chill squat shoe.

Order one size bigger
The do-wins are a solid platform. The more I use them, the more I like them. It took longer to settle on a pair since I wrongly ordered my regular size--I listened to the advice in another review. Rogue's advice is correct: order 1/2 size larger than you normally wear. It's unfortunate that the lifting shoes I want only come in one width, a problem for those of us with wide feet. It's a trade-off. You have to get a slightly longer shoe in order for it to be wide enough to get your foot into.

Solid!
First squat shoes I’ve ever owned. Ive tried my friends Reebok’s and nikes and they were way too narrow. Was gifted these by a friend and got a half size bigger than my regular shoe size and they’re still a little narrow in the toe box but definitely better than the others I’ve tried on. Lock in is amazing and the drop is just enough to compensate my ankle mobility issues. I’d definitely recommend these just make sure to get a half size bigger.

Very positive first impression
Just received these shoes today and put them through their paces. For reference, I ordered my usual size and they fit perfectly. I don't think it would have worked for me to step down 1/2 size. They look and feel like quality shoes so I expect they will last quite a bit. I am confused about the sole configuration however. The website picture shows the first layer of leather running along the length of the shoe with all other layers wedged between the first layer and the rubber sole which creates a curved surface for the foot to rest on. The ones I received have all layers of leather running parallel to one another with all the leading edges trimmed flat against the rubber sole. This configuration results on a flat ramp from heel to toe. I would like to hear from ROGUE whether this was an intended design change and the reason for it. I will only be using them for lifting so I don't expect any complaints (time will tell). Shipping was blazing fast and I must say the overall experience has been very positive.

Solid fit true to size
Bought these the end of November 2021 and they look and feel great. I wear a size 9 and ordered size 9 and they fit perfect. Only thing I noticed is that the rubber on the sole partially unglued
