Do-Win Classic Lifter

The original Rogue weightlifting shoe, the Do-Win, is back in a re-launched “Classic” edition, available here in three colorway choices: Black & White, Red & White, and Blue & White.

As longtime Rogue athletes will know, the Do-Win Lifter was the very first lifting shoe ever sold through Rogue Fitness, starting back in 2007. This simple, precision design—with its 0.75” heel-to-toe drop, ample ventilation, and lock-down stability—earned a devoted following from the amateur ranks to the highest levels of competition. And while plenty has changed in the worlds of CrossFit and weightlifting over the past decade, a classic never goes out of style.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from True to size (don't go down!), sole ripped quickly Overall I really like the shoe and it's a good price but the advice to go down half a size was unnecessary. I was able to stretch them enough to keep them but they are VERY snug and I wish I would've stuck with my normal size. My big complaint is that within a week of wearing them, the rubber part of the sole on the front peeled back so it caught on the ground on my split jerk. After 2 applications of shoe goo, it seems to be fixed but not sure how long that will hold up. If they were the right size and the bottom hadn't come apart so quickly, I would've given them 5 stars because I do like lifting in them!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Different Fit than Original I have a pair of the original Do-Wins that I've been using for over a decade which need to be retired. I received a pair of these as a Christmas gift, and they looked to be a perfect replacement for the old pair, but the fit is very different. Despite getting a half size larger than the originals, they are too small. The new 9's are almost exactly the same length as my original 8.5s. The new toe box is also much narrower than the original, and put my toes to sleep before I could finish a workout, so they'll be going back. If you're looking for a new pair of the original Do-Wins, these are not it. The straps are wider (good?) but also much shorter than on the original. They only wrap back up to the top of my foot, leaving several inches of hook tape exposed to snag laces, straps and pants.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Shoe, But needs Wider Widths I really loved how solid built this shoe is. The only downside is that the Manufacturer should make available Wider Width shoes for people with Wide Feet. I usually wear a 3E or 4E so this shoe was a little tight fit. Had to return it because it would have been uncomfortable for me. Otherwise, I really loved the look and built of it. Rogue, please make Wider Shoes available soon?? Thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent build quality; Sizing is very different I own a pair of older do-wins and went with the recommendation to go a half size down. That was the wrong decision! My old do-wins were 11.5 US and I had to order 12.5 US for the new size to fit. The build quality on these new shoes is tremendous. But the website sizing advice is not helpful for me at all. You can see from the pictures that the new do-wins run a full size small when compared to older ones. Hope that helps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Runs SMALL Love the overall look of the shoe, also love that its not a plastic heel. I normally wear a size 7 in men's shoes. Played soccer for 17 years and used to a snug fit. The toe box on these are tiny. Having to return and size up. Currently wear men's size 7 in Metcons and they have room to spare. My suggestion would be to size up.+

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not like the original Just not the same as the originals. The toe box is smaller. The soles are no longer gum rubber. The gum rubber seems to have better grip inspiring more confidence. The straps are smaller which is good because the old straps were too long but honestly I wish they were somewhere in between the two. The trim around the ankle is better. The original ones where some sort of glove leather or vinyl that easily shredded. The new version seems like it will last longer. With the cramped toe box and the sole change I really can't recommend these. If you're looking for an original Do-Win these are not it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love them but sole rips easy I had them for two weeks, the rubber peeled away from the heel. Rogue was great and immediately sent me a new pair. Unfortunately now the rubber is peeling away from the front of the foot that goes back for split jerks. Not worth the hassle of asking for a 3rd pair. Run small, definitely didn't need to go down a half size (like I did for my original Do-Win's). Want to love them. Unfortunately looking for a new pair of shoes already due to rubber issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit excellent heel height Originally sized up. Didn't have to sent the original pair back for my regular street shoe size worked out great. I have another brand that has a higher heel that I didn't like, these shoes are not too high not too low. Just right. Like that they are leather and have leather mid soles with rubber bottoms. Really feel anchored to the floor when I squat. They seem like they will last a long time. Glad Rogue makes these. My true size worked great for me.
