Do-Win Classic Lifter

The original Rogue weightlifting shoe, the Do-Win, is back in a re-launched “Classic” edition, available here in three colorway choices: Black & White, Red & White, and Blue & White.

As longtime Rogue athletes will know, the Do-Win Lifter was the very first lifting shoe ever sold through Rogue Fitness, starting back in 2007. This simple, precision design—with its 0.75” heel-to-toe drop, ample ventilation, and lock-down stability—earned a devoted following from the amateur ranks to the highest levels of competition. And while plenty has changed in the worlds of CrossFit and weightlifting over the past decade, a classic never goes out of style.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from They were great until the disintegrated I’m now lifting in my second pair of these. The sole started to separate from the first pair after two weeks (I lift about 5 days a week). Rogue was kind enough to replace for free but a week into the second pair the same thing started to happen. I reinforced the toe with boot glue hoping it would help. It did for a few weeks but then the rubber just started to fall apart and the heel began to separate as well. I wanted to love these but sadly these are definitely a hard pass in my book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, stylish and most importantly quality. I bought these about a month ago because I had trouble finding a heeled shoe with a wide toe box. Lone behold, it met expectations and then some. Very comfortable leather or suede material. Also the underside of the shoe had a very grippy, bumpy, but sturdy material. Also a great price. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a heeled shoe to accommodate their lifting needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent weightlifting shoes Pay attention to the sizing, I normally wear a 9 wide shoe and found out that these Do-Wins run a little small. I ordered a size 9 but had to exchange them for a size 10. Their size 9 was narrower and shorter than any of my other athletic shoes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fit small ! The order information says to drop down a size from "normal", but I ordered my normal size, and they were much too small. Had to return them ... I would go up a size not down !

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing Shoes! After having herniated my L5/S1 disc in 2008, I realized that running shoes weren't going to do the job and I purchased my first pair of women's do-win lifters in 2013 - I haven't turned back. No other lifting shoe compares and I've tried many brands. I purchased a pair of this Classic lifter in my women's size 8.5 (men's 7), but they were too small in the toe box! I was extremely surprised because I recently purchased the newer model Do-Win from another company (in a women's size 9 - INCREDIBLE for step-ups, btw), and it was very roomy, so I thought purchasing 0.5 size down would be OK for the Classic. I've ordered a new pair of Classic Do-Win from Rogue in my usual women's size 9 (men's 7.5). I really hope that the size-up fits well this time! They are amazing for squats, lunges and prone leg curls. Where I find the newer model on suitable for static exercises as the sole is very rigid. I have difficulty feeling the weight between my feet during prone leg curl and it keeps slipping off. Fingers crossed!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great look- runs small I love the look. They are really pretty and look well made. However the straps seem too short. They do the job but it just looks a little silly once I’m wearing the shoe and a lot of the Velcro is showing (see pictures). They also run small. The sizing guide says to go half a size down from your regular tennis shoes size. DON’T. I wear a size 7 Reebok nano (all 3 versions that I own) very comfortably and for all my other sneakers. I also already own the Dowin Pendlay (plastic version) that I love and have been using for 2 years but are slightly too big (I can stick a finger between the back of my heel and the shoe). So I figured the 7 would be perfect. It is not. It is reaaaally tight. I ordered the 7.5 and am waiting to see if that will do. And although I doubt it will fix the strap issue mentioned earlier, maybe it will. I might up my rating to 4 stars when I get that pair if it fits well.
