I’m a huge for of Go Ruck boots these are my fourth pair. I mainly use these daily everything. I have a low cut pair for training. These shoes have a very supportive base, your foot is well cradled. Great for lifting, light hiking or whatever you have in mind. They are tough and clean up super easy.

I bought these after a review from As Many Reviews As Possible. I have weak arches and need supportive footwear. I do daily walks in these from 2-5 miles with no pain. Wore them to Disneyland all day with no foot fatigue. I use them for Metcons and they're fantastic. Big fan of GoRuck as a company and everything they represent.

I really like the high top shoes and decided to get this. I'm comparing this to the Altama OTB shoes which I feel is a close comparison to it. To me, the biggest, and probably most biggest difference between the two is the sole life. On my OTB, I gone through 1 pair that has the sole completely rubbed off where everything is nearly completely gone. I got my second pair shortly before finding the goruck and that too has started to get noticeable wearing on the bottom soles where it was fading to the point of being a flat surface. These GORUCK shoes do not wear! At all. And I tried. I ran a 15 miles trail with them (in a wooded trail that has roots, rocks, and various other surface). I ran the streets, did lifting, and these shoes were abused way worst than my OTBs and not a single wear on the sole. I also completed a murph yesterday with 2 miles running on the roads with weighted vest. Not a single wear on the bottom soles. These things are built tough! I also like the fact how flexible these shoes are compared to the OTB. It almost feels like they could rip apart but they are very tough. The only downside to these is, in my opinion, it doesn't have toe protectors but that is okay. Not really a major point. Also it comes with two inside soles so you can wear it sort of supported for running and whatnot, and a flatter one for lifting. I kept it to the factory one where it's slightly supported and found to be the best all rounder. Overall I highly recommend these shoes. They are the best shoes I owned thus far and I wear them to crossfit everyday.

In almost 9 years of CrossFit, I've tried all the flavors of shoes -- Reebok Nanos, Nike Metcons, Nobulls, Innov8 ... They are amazing! Solid on rope climbs today. Gripped the rope really well. Wore them for WODs all week and they are light and comfortable with good ankle support. If you are looking for a 2 me, from me with love Christmas present for yourself, check these out. I have narrow feet and normally wear a 9.5 ladies shoe and ordered an 8 mens.
