Now Available in up to 6 Custom Configurations

The Monster Utility Bench is designed with an extra-wide 24” base and a heavy-duty 3x3” 11-gauge steel frame. Manufactured in Columbus, OH, each unit ships disassembled from our warehouse to reduce shipping costs, and comes with all necessary hardware for a quick set-up, including a set of rubber feet for added sturdiness on uneven surfaces. The overall footprint is 44” long x 24” wide.

You can customize the Monster Utility Bench during the ordering process by selecting your preferred bench height (standard vs. shorty) and type of bench pad (standard vs. Competition Fat Pad vs. Thompson Fat Pad). Our new Shorty Bench option allows athletes to use a Fat Pad while keeping the unit at a more traditional flat bench height.

Monster Utility Bench is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good bench could be great! I received my monster utility bench with fat pad yesterday and as always with rogue its very high quality. It came packaged nicely and was very easy to assemble. Very heavy duty and sturdy. My other bench is a 10" pad and going to the fat pad feels much better. Much more supportive and easier to keep form. Where they could improve it is narrow the post width down by your feet to give a little more room. I'd also say to cut the bench down some for those who order the fat pad. My last place it could be made better would be to add a set of wheels and a handle to the bench to make moving it around easier. With fat pad it weighs near 85lbs so a set of wheels would be a nice addition!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredibly Sturdy This is an excellent bench that stays where I put it, no matter where I am on it. I can get on the very edge of the bench and it doesn't budge... a tribute to the simple geometry of it. Construction was a breeze with twelve bolts to fasten. Before I affixed the top pad, I jumped up and down on the cross member. It's like jumping up and down on a steel balance beam. The top pad is very firm and feels excellent. This is an easy recommendation and it's actually a reasonable price given the quality. Unless I need an adjustable bench some day, this is the last bench I'll ever need to buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and Solid I purchased this bench after looking through all of the benches available from Rogue Fitness. I chose this one with the fat pad because I remembered long ago when lifting that a skinny bench would hurt my shoulder blades during bench. I wanted to feel solid while doing any of my workout requiring it. I was not disappointed by this purchase. The pad is the perfect firmness and the bench is more sturdy than I thought it would be. This bench is just another reason to go rogue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One Stout Bench!! I have been looking for a new economical flat bench for quite a while. I had my eyes on this one for a bit because of the price. I finally decided that I had to have one with the Thompson Fat Pad. We've had it for less than a week and I am so glad to I got it. I've already benched a BIG PR on it. It's plenty wide for me to get my shoulders set right, yet not so wide that the wife feels like she's doing floor presses. The pad is just unreal. I'm 300 pounds and I don't sink into at all. If you need a great bench at pretty fair price, give this one a chance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bench I've never felt more solid under the bar. Even compared to full bench press integrated racks, this Bench feels solid. I also have the Fat Pad. Normally no matter how I fit on a regular bench at any commercial gym, at least one shoulder blade is half supported or hanging off the bench, even when my shoulders are retracted. Only complaint about this bench is hopefully an isolated event, but it was missing all the nuts to attach the feet to the pad. Luckily about $1.20 at home depot and I was ready to use my bench.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Over engineered tank of a bench This is by far the greatest bench I have ever used. All other benches must bow in respect and out of fear. It is much heavier than I envisioned and the pad is just the perfect amount of firm. The rubber feet make it practically immovable and the extra width the fat pad creates is perfect for extra marker storage and makes for a great elbow stabilizer when coloring the box it came in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rogue Monster Bench/ Thompson Fat Pad I just wanted to say what a great bench this is. I'm glad I opted for the fat pad. This bench is an absolute beast. It came packaged very well, absolutely no scratches or dings in the paint. It took about 20 minutes to put together by myself. This is my second purchase from Rogue, and both went smoothly, every email I sent with questions or concerns was answered promptly, and it seems like Rogue has an army of people taking and answering any correspondence. I will be purchasing much more from this company. I have their RM4 power rack, their change plates, the fractional plates, this bench, their 2.0 safety straps. I have also bought other accessories from them like OSO barbell collars, and everything arrived packed perfectly. I can't wait till next payday, I plan on buying their 320 lb comp plate set. Keep up the great work, thanks, Steve

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the right height I finally pulled the trigger on this one, been eyeing it for a while. I really like the width of the pad and the height of this bench. The 24" wide base means this thing is stable and the bolt together design is solid. It comes in two boxes and takes about 5 minutes to assemble. The rubber feet means it will not wobble on most floors but on my rubber stall mats it is a little sticky when positioning it. Oh well, just means I have to lift it which is easy. It really looks nice sitting in my Monster Lite rack and I'm glad I finally got it.
