Product Description

Particle Gray / White / Gum Medium Brown

Representing a new gold standard in weight training, the Nike Metcon 7 is even tougher than previous models, with React foam for optimal comfort and lock-down lace tabs to prevent untying during high-intensity training. The shoe’s wide, flat, and flexible heel also now includes an inner plate that distributes weight from edge to edge for improved stability, while revamped rubber wraps along the arch offer better traction on rope climbs.

Breathability remains paramount with this model, too, as the Metcon 7’s lightweight mesh and strategically textured overlays keep your feet cool without sacrificing durability. Rubber tread on the outsole and up the side of the shoe provides directional traction from the training room floor to the pavement, and flywire cables integrate with the laces to secure the midfoot.

Available here in Particle Gray / White / Gum Medium Brown. Check out the purchase area for more colorway options.

Wish I didn't buy
I've had these for a few months now and am still using them only because of stubbornness. They have broken in a bit and become a little more comfortable but that process was not fun. Nike's usually fit me perfectly but not these for some reason. They are great for lifting because they have a clunky and sturdy heel. That heel makes all other cross training movements a lot less fun. I keep finding myself shoe shopping because I am so disappointed.

I expected better...
From the reviews of this shoe I expected perfection for training purposes. At first I thought there would be an adjustment period but after 3 months I feel its. now safe to say I do not like these shoes. The toe box is too narrow and the fit feels tight but not secure somehow. These shine for olympic lifting but for general cross training not so much.
