Reebok Legacy Lifter

Available here in black and gold, the Legacy Lifter is Reebok’s precision-engineered Olympic weightlifting shoe. This advanced design combines the latest science with quality construction and style—plus a level of comfort and breathability rarely found in a competition-ready lifting shoe.

The Legacy Lifter features a high and wide, 22mm thick drop-heel and extra-hard TPU clip for maximum stability on the heaviest lifts. Overlapping straps create a full, lockdown foot wrap, while the shoe’s breathable upper, cushioned midsole, and anatomical sockliner offer ample support for producing maximum power.

The grip rubber on the outsole of the Legacy Lifter is battle tested for seven years of proven traction and protection. The collar features 100% ETC anti-microbial lining (to reduce heat and abrasions) and a full foam lining with an achilles pad for added comfort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Oly shoes period! I have the Romaleos 2, Adipowers, and my buddy has the new Romaleos 3 and these Reebok Legacy lifters are the best Weightlifting shoes on the market imo. They feel so comfortable and stable on all lifts especially on the Snatch and CJ. They totally give you more Power delivery then my other lifting shoes. Rock solid. I have the Black/ Gold and the Looks and comments I get at my gym is non stop lol. The sound of these shoes make on a platform or rubber mats are just loud and amazing. Crisp. These are true to size so no need to go half size up or down. Very high quality shoes! Get you a pair :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband loves them! I naught them 3 weeks ago for my hubby and it took a while for him to get use to the weight of the shoes. But he tells me that the shoes have really helped with his progress in his weight lifting activities. Style: he loves the color because that is his teams colors (Pittsburgh) Heel lift: helps with lifting technique Double straps: foot feels secure with the two straps on top of each shoe. He normally wears a shoe of 11 and 1/2 to 12 depending on the got, and I got him size 11, and they are snug but his coach says that tight is good. He would recommend them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Weightlifting Shoe This is not a hybrid Crossfit/Weightlifting shoe, it is a pure Weightlifting shoe. This was designed to perform the Olympic lifts (and strength lifts - Squats). The shoe is heavy, as it's meant to be. It has a solid feel when squatting, and a stable feel when receiving snatches and cleans. The lacing system and buckles lock the foot in place and the shoes breath well for long lifting sessions. I wear size 7.5 in Nanos and they run really snug (I don't tie the laces), so I got the same size in the Legacy and the fit was just right. I have the gold and black and they certainly draw attention, and the overall construction is well done by Reebok. If you need any more convincing, the shoe was designed with input from CJ Cummings, a world record holding Weightlifter. Once again, this is not a Crossfit Hybrid, it was meant to shine in the platform.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Like These Pros: 1) Look amazing. Black and gold so pretty, good conversation piece 2) Straps: The best out of any of the big name shoes, not too long, stick tight, and 2 of them 3) Laces - not sure what to call it but a lace loop through the middle helps laces stay tight over a stiff construction Cons: 1) Did not use the Uform sole. One of my favorite features of the lifter plus 2) Much heavier than other oly shoes. This is not a deterrent for me because I only squat or oly lift in them, but worth noting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid shoe I just got mine in the mail and have used these shoes in one session. As someone who has tried pretty much every lifting shoes out there, Reebok did really well with this one. The shoes fit a little big. For reference, I wear a 10.5 in Nanos and a 10 in the legacy lifter is perfect. My only complaint is that they are a little on the heavy side. Just holding them, there is a noticeable difference in weight between the Reebok Legacy shoes and my other current shoes (Romaleos and Leistung). As I get used to it, however, I don't think I'll mind it much. They are great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spiritual Successor to the Romaleos 2 These are my impressions having used them for several months now: First, they feel incredibly sturdy. The mostly-leather upper is very durable, but nice and flexible once you've gone through an appropriate break-in period (for me, that was probably 5 or 6 solid sessions). The straps are much the same. They're fairly stiff out of the box, but become more flexible with use. The velcro locks them down very securely, and they use metal clasps which should last forever. If any aspect of these shoes looks like it might fall short from a quality perspective, it might be the laces. The relatively stuff upper material means you really have to torque them hard to tighten them in a meaningful way. But, that's me being nitpicky. Otherwise, everything on this shoe looks like it should last for years. Half the reason I'm writing this is that lots of people seem disappointed by how flimsy the Romaleos 3 turned out to be. If you're one of those people and all you want is for Nike to bring back the Romaleos 2, this might be what you're looking for. It checks a lot of the same boxes -- virtually indestructible, 3/4 inch heels, two straps, and good-looking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid shoes I've had these for a few weeks now and wanted these specifically so had to buy them from the US as there was nowhere left in the UK that sold them. They feel absolutely solid, whilst still maintaining comfort, the only negative I have is that, while I love the colours, some of the material on the shoe just seems a little cheap/tacky. But as a lifting shoe, they're better than my adidas leistungs (16 II) and marginally better than my powerlift 3.0s but I'd recommend them or the powerlift's to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shoe I am a woman who has bunions and it is difficult to find shoes wide enough in the toe box. These fit perfectly and provide the support I was looking for.
