Available here in black and gold, the Legacy Lifter is Reebok’s precision-engineered Olympic weightlifting shoe. This advanced design combines the latest science with quality construction and style—plus a level of comfort and breathability rarely found in a competition-ready lifting shoe.

The Legacy Lifter features a high and wide, 22mm thick drop-heel and extra-hard TPU clip for maximum stability on the heaviest lifts. Overlapping straps create a full, lockdown foot wrap, while the shoe’s breathable upper, cushioned midsole, and anatomical sockliner offer ample support for producing maximum power.

The grip rubber on the outsole of the Legacy Lifter is battle tested for seven years of proven traction and protection. The collar features 100% ETC anti-microbial lining (to reduce heat and abrasions) and a full foam lining with an achilles pad for added comfort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Shoe for Powerlifters I'm coming from the Nike Romaleo 2's and have to say I'm impressed. They are everything I liked about the Romaleo 2's and fixed what I didn't like. Nice wide platform (wider than Adipower) yielding a very planted feel. Adipowes are great and I'm sure the slightly more narrow platform is nothing more than mental as guys throwing up much more weight than I use the Adipowers. I however like the feel of the wide platform of the Romaleo 2's and now these. What these do better than the Romaleo 2's? No heel slip and they are ever so slightly more flexible in the toe box so you can walk around somewhat normal and not like Ironman. I couldn't walk in Romaleo's and couldn't wait to get them off... not with the Legacy. So they are like Romaleo's but a touch more flexible in the toebox and have that wide base & platform that I'm familiar with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First pair of lifting shoes These are my first pair of lifting shoes, and they have been great so far very stable and the two different Velcro straps are awesome. I usually lace up the shoes loose then tighten the first strap over the toes letting my heel slide out when I walk. This helps keep the shoes from breaking in and bending when I walk around between sets. Overall very happy with this purchase when these go out I’ll probably buy the same brand, whichever model is out at the time. I used to squat in chucks because it’s all I knew I was struggling around 405-445 put these shoes on and immediately noticed the difference hit a PR of 465 and it’s only gone up from there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Lifter! - Overall, Reebok did an outstanding job with this lifter; definitely a significant upgrade from their previous products. This is a true weightlifting shoe, so do not expect to use it in any WODs (sure, you could, but it would be ill-advised). - The stability in this lifter is excellent; your feet stay planted, the heel is solid and you stay locked in--no heel slippage with my experience. Also, the forefoot straps really lock your foot down, and the lacing system is excellent. - Flexibility is adequate, it is not as nimble as the Adidas Adipowers, but it certainly is not an issue--I would say it is very much comparable to the Nike Romaleo 2's. - In terms of the weight, the Legacy Lifter is slightly heavier than the Romaleos, however, the difference is negligible; I have no problem moving my feet during jerks (if you are someone who struggles in this area, then a lighter lifter or entry-level pair of lifters may be better suited for you). - In terms of comfort, I believe they are fine, and I have no issues wearing them when performing my olympic lifts and squats. It you wore them for an extended period of time it may become uncomfortable, but that is no different than any other "true" weightlifting shoe. - In terms of the fit, I believe the shoe runs a 1/2 size big (this is my personal belief, and I have also seen others express a similar opinion). I wear a size 10 in the Nano 6 and that is a snug fit for me (I prefer my trainers to be snug because I do not tie the laces when training). I purchased a size 10 in the Legacy Lifter, and this is perfect; but I do have a little more room in the toe box than I do in my Nanos, which is why I believe it runs little big. - In terms of the width of the shoe, I would say it is comparable to the Nano 6. The Legacy Lifter is not as narrow as the Adipowers, and for me this is perfect. Nonetheless, there is plenty of room, in my belief. - The overall quality of the shoe is excellent. The leather is nice, the mesh padding on the back (this also has a heel cup inside of the mesh lining to help with the stability) is very comfortable, and my initial impression is that this will be a very durable shoe. Also, the grip on the sole performs well. - To address a couple minor concerns I have seen from others--a few people say that the straps are brittle or may potentially be prone to breaking; I can understand their concern, but I do not believe this will be an issue, I believe that they are more than adequate. The straps are not very thick, but I do not foresee them breaking. Also, I know some who believe the shoe is stiff or very hard to get into; I did not have a problem with this, just simply open-up the laces and you should be fine. They also loosen up as you start to break them in. - Overall, I believe this is a solid lifter in terms of performance and future durability. I also think they look really nice. You can't go wrong with purchasing these, Reebok really did a great job, and it's obvious they really invested themselves into developing this lifter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great support I purchased these for the soul purpose of squat work. This was my first pair of this type of shoe. They are true to size. The fit is tight at first, but have loosened up after frequent use. A definite for squat work.
