Reebok Legacy Lifter

Available here in White / Black, the Legacy Lifter is Reebok’s precision-engineered Olympic weightlifting shoe. This advanced design combines the latest science with quality construction and style—plus a level of comfort and breathability rarely found in a competition-ready lifting shoe.

The Legacy Lifter features a high and wide, 22mm thick drop-heel and extra-hard TPU clip for maximum stability on the heaviest lifts. Overlapping straps create a full, lockdown foot wrap, while the shoe’s breathable upper, cushioned midsole, and anatomical sockliner offer ample support for producing maximum power.

The grip rubber on the outsole of the Legacy Lifter is battle tested for seven years of proven traction and protection. The collar features 100% ETC anti-microbial lining (to reduce heat and abrasions) and a full foam lining with an achilles pad for added comfort.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very comfortable, durability leaves could improve I purchased these shoes back in October and wear them approx. once per week. These are very comfortable shoes. The lift is excellent and I love the two adjustable straps. I haven't had the problems that some of the other reviewers have had i.e. the soles of my shoes are still going strong and they show minimal wear. However, the velcro is already disintegrating and the straps frequently come undone mid-lift. For such expensive shoes, I expect better performance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Feel great I've been using these for about a month now and I'm so glad I made the purchase. I was nervous about the height of them as they are slightly higher than most others and since I have a long torso and short legs the recommendations were for a smaller lift. I've had no problems with these. Its amazing how much better my squats feel and how much more stable I am. I would say the only downfall thusfar is that the top of the shoe digs in slightly to the inside of my ankle by where you tie the laces. I'm hoping that this goes away as I break the shoes in.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Miss for me... I bought these over Nike Romaleo's based on reviews. I am learning olympic weightlifting after powerlifting/bodybuilding training without lifters for the past couple of years. THESE SHOES ARE SO HEAVY!!! These shoes will definitely endure a lot of abuse, and are sturdy well made shoes. But for me, needing to be up on the balls of your feet for olympic movements.. these shoes feel like they hold me back. They are sturdy and grounding, but to a fault. I could see how some people would love them, but I am returning and ordering the Nikes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful shoes but fit very small I originally bought these shoes in a size 6 (I have a pair of Reebok Crossfit Lifter 2.0 in the same size), but that size was way too small in this shoe. I ended up ordering a 6.5, but I almost wish I had ordered a size 7, since the toe box is also very narrow (and I don't have especially wide feet). However, they are incredibly beautiful shoes. I use them for bench pressing (opting for my Crossfit Lifters or my other pair of Reebok lifting shoes for Oly lifting), and they add a perfect amount of heel height.
