Protect your shins

Rope climbs, dead lifts, cleans and snatches can be hard on your shins (so hard that some athletes develop staph infections). Built with UV protective 5mm of hi-tech neoprene and breathable 10-24 Lycra, Rock Guards protect and serve. They’re light-weight and slightly compressive, yet offer the ultimate in protection.

Rock Guards are great for:

  • Rope climbs
  • Dead-lifts
  • Cleans and snatches
  • Box Jumps

New Features:

  • Impact resistive 5MM Neoprene fronts fused to a compressive lycra sleeve.
  • Back zip makes them easy to get on.
  • Foot stirrup and silicone grips keep them in place

Sizing Chart

  • If your calves are > 38CM in circumference at the widest point use the large / extra large size

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what they used to be. This new version of rock guards is not as durable as previous models. The material on the back of the calf is thin and I don’t expect it to last long on rope climbs which is why I purchased them. Additionally they added a worthless zipper that won’t stay closed by the ankle. Adding a metal fastener at the ankle which can cause it to dig into your flesh on wrapped rope climbs. I wouldn’t recommend these any longer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable protection These sock guards are comfortable protection for your shins when deadlifting. They offer good compression as well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sizing is off and not accurate Based on the sizing guide a L/XL would be big enough . I have a 43cm Calf .... its just not happening

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Large NOT XL I bought these under the impression that they'd fit L/XL as the listing states. However, the tag on the inside states Large. These are soooo tight at the top and generally overall they're cutting off circulation. I have wide calfs. 17" at the widest point and I'm short in height. They need an actual XL size. Other than that they do seem nice and many other people at the box wear them, but I'll have to just give to my husband.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rock Guards are essential! I have been using my rock guards for approximately 3-4 weeks now. It was only this past week that was doing my last set box jumps (homemade plywood box - no padding ) and my legs somewhat gave out towards the last few jumps and I landed on the corner of the box on my shin. It hurt nonetheless - but it saved my shin and skin from some major hurt. I ma grateful for having had them on...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good protection, bad design on ankle area The protection on the shin is really good. The mesh on the calf seems well built. The ankle zipper is completely useless, they always open and scratch your skin.
