Protect your shins

Rope climbs, dead lifts, cleans and snatches can be hard on your shins (so hard that some athletes develop staph infections). Built with UV protective 5mm of hi-tech neoprene and breathable 10-24 Lycra, Rock Guards protect and serve. They’re light-weight and slightly compressive, yet offer the ultimate in protection.

Rock Guards are great for:

  • Rope climbs
  • Dead-lifts
  • Cleans and snatches
  • Box Jumps

New Features:

  • Impact resistive 5MM Neoprene fronts fused to a compressive lycra sleeve.
  • Back zip makes them easy to get on.
  • Foot stirrup and silicone grips keep them in place

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice product to protect shins for barbell lifts These were very good for rope climbing and have good padding in front of shin for barbell lifts. For now i only used these for rope climbing. They compress a little also for other activities. They are more cumbersome to put on and take off since you put them on like a sock and have a stir-up for the heel to prevent crawling up leg. I prefer the XT Brace for barbell lifts since can easily remove it when switching to non-lifting activities. But if you want more protection then these Rock Guards are ideal. For rope climbing, make sure the zipper on the inside of leg and to avoid cutting into lower leg.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard to get on, runs a little small (IMO), work gr Got these to help my shins when dead lifting, and they certainly do the trick as far as keeping my legs from getting battered. I will say that i wish they had a real "XL" size, and the L doesn't cut it for me. I am 6' 2", 210 and have massive calves. It is hard to get the top of the guards over my calves, the setup is really really tight, and i cannot zip down all the way on my ankles. I guess if i had a size that fit, i'd probably like them more

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Large NOT XL I bought these under the impression that they'd fit L/XL as the listing states. However, the tag on the inside states Large. These are soooo tight at the top and generally overall they're cutting off circulation. I have wide calfs. 17" at the widest point and I'm short in height. They need an actual XL size. Other than that they do seem nice and many other people at the box wear them, but I'll have to just give to my husband.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth it Been using for about a month on deadlifts. Haven’t used for rope climbs yet. What once was bloody shins is now pure bliss. They stay in place (even though I don’t use the stirrups). Apparently my shins are taller than the sleeves. If I stretch the stirrups to the max I still have several inches below the knee exposed. Skip the stirrups and pull all the way up, works great. Zipper is pretty pointless, but very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rock Guards are essential! I have been using my rock guards for approximately 3-4 weeks now. It was only this past week that was doing my last set box jumps (homemade plywood box - no padding ) and my legs somewhat gave out towards the last few jumps and I landed on the corner of the box on my shin. It hurt nonetheless - but it saved my shin and skin from some major hurt. I ma grateful for having had them on...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for deadlifts I bought the rock guards about a month ago to help protect my chins with deadlift. MAN, am I glad I purchased these!!!! They work great!!. I am 5'7" and I bought a medium size, I was 35 cm for my turborosity and it fits perfectly. I needed something to protect my chins due to my strength increasing and the knurls hurting my chins. Great purchase!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what I needed Just what I needed for protection in case of a mixed box jump. Also used to prevent rope climb "rash". A little tight getting over the foot, but not a big deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these! Lightweight material! I love these. I have an ugly scar from missing a box jump. I bought these to help prevent future scars. I like the mesh on the back of the leg so that they are not as hot as knee sleeves. The under the foot band helps to keep them in place and the zipper helps to get them off when you are super sweaty. Great product.
