Rogue Chain Kits
Use Chain. Get Stronger.

Rogue Chain is made in the USA and available here in 1/2” and 5/8” kits (with carabiners), as well as single pieces without hardware. Each chain is zinc electroplated to prevent rust, and can be ordered with a Rogue Chain Sheath Set to further help prevent damage to your equipment and flooring.

Strength training with chains creates accommodating resistance that helps promote greater overall explosiveness and power. Throw a set or two over your shoulders and do weighted pull-ups or dips, or attach them to a Rogue Butcher for a new dynamic on sled work. Think outside the box and throw them in a WOD.

Rogue Chain Kits include chains with a carabiner in the center for easy loading + 4-foot chains with a carabiner to mount around a barbell. We recommend using a weight in chains that is around 10-20% of your 1 rep max for the exercise you are doing.

More on Our Optional Rogue Chain Sheath Sets

Our Chain Sheaths are sold in pairs and made from 1000D Cordura. Measuring 58” long x 4” wide, they are compatible with both the ⅝” and ½” chain. Velcro straps and closures at each end effectively keep the chain confined and uniformly spaced within the sheath as you train. In the middle of each sheath, an opening in the Cordura allows for a carabiner to be clipped to the chain. Includes a sewn-in Rogue label. Qualifies as a "3 Ships Free" item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific chains! These chains are fabulous! First of all, they are ultra clean: no oil or grease, but will never rust due to the zinc coating. With very easy length adjustments possible, the length is never an issue. I use them with my barbell for bench presses, squats, deadlifts, clean-grip high pulls. I also put a chain around my shoulders for dips and sissy squats. I even use them with my seated arm curl machine, added them to where the plates are loaded. The feel of variable resistance provided by the chains is great! Both the 1/2" and 5/8" sizes are amazing and will last forever. Truly outstanding! Thank you Rogue Fitness!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works for me I don't pretend to be a chain expert or anything, this is my first set, but I have not had the same issues as the other two reviewers. If I need to adjust the chain up or down a bit for squats, bench, etc., I just move the clip up a link or two on the short chain. I end up with the entire large chain deloaded, and the smaller chain doing its job. Not sure why that is so difficult to figure out. Maybe I'm technically doing something wrong, but all I see is the chain doing exactly what it is supposed to do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How to set up chains for a barbell back squat Different lifts require different setups of these chains. For any lift, the idea is that you want all the chain off the floor at the top of the lift and all of the heavier bottom chain on the floor at the bottom of the lift. For a barbell back squat do this: use the minimum number of links (maybe 8 links) on the top lighter chain to wrap around the barbell and then clip to the small chain with the included smaller carabiner. In this configuration, the top chain will be more than 3 feet long. Then clip the larger bottom chain's larger carabiner to the middle of the larger bottom chain so that the bottom chain is now half as long as its total length. And also clip this same carabiner to the bottom of the smaller top chain. In this configuration, when you stand up with the barbell on your back, the total chain should be off the floor. When you are at the bottom of your squat, the larger bottom chain should be on the floor. Of course you may have to make adjustments in this explanation depending on your height.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice product inaccurate description They were supposed to be 10 lbs per large chain and 5 lbs per small chain the large chains are only 8 lbs and the small ones only 2

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 1/2" chain weight Rogue should update the description or add more links to the 1/2" chains that they sell. Purchased 6 - 1/2" chains and all were 8.67lbs or 8.68lbs as specified on shipping packaging. Slightly disappointed, I am not going to lie. But will still use them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Probably cost little more than going to home depot or so.. I have 2x 18lbs chains and used them when I do dips. I put them on my upper body and do many reps as possible. I treat them rough... throwing it off to the platform every set and still good to go. Planning to buy one more..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent chains Debated for awhile buying these but I'm glad I did. They are very versatile; I always use them on squats, dead lifts, and dips. I did a search looking for a better deal but the price difference on other sites (and hardware stores) was minimal. I purchased a set of the 10 lbs and a set of the 20 lbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Complement to My Rogue Landmine Setup I have my home gym and I am a landmine nut since I can do so many exercises and never need to be spotted. The chain adds consistency to the lifts throughout a full range of motion. I even bought one for my landmine setup at the high school I coach at and my swimmers love it. One of them explains the physics to the entire crew every time we use it; wish I had his smarts.
