Rogue 3x3 Echo GHD

At long last, a quality Glute Ham Developer for the rest of us. Rogue’s Echo GHD is a completely new take on this machine—using a little DIY resourcefulness to give athletes and gym owners a more affordable, space-efficient alternative to the traditional freestanding unit. This 3x3 version of the Echo GHD is compatible exclusively with our Monster Lite Series Rigs and Racks.

The Echo GHD comes standard with a 30”x24” vinyl GHD pad and a durable foot roller assembly, with the option to add a Rogue Games Box and/or an Echo GHD Stabilizer Kit* to your order.

For added security, both the underside of the GHD pad and the webbing of the seatbelt-style straps feature a non-slip, "grabber" fabric that helps prevent unwanted movement or sliding of the unit on a slick floor.

Many athletes already know the benefits of GHD training-- from building stronger glutes and hamstrings to promoting midline stability, powerful abdominal muscle recruitment, and the safe, active development of the spinal erectors. The challenge was always budgeting for the machine or finding room for it in a garage gym. The 3x3 Echo GHD destroys those obstacles with a budget price, easy set-up and storage, reliable American craftsmanship, and a performance level to rival most freestanding machines. If you’ve wanted a genuine GHD in your gym, there are no further excuses.

Important: The foot roller assembly is currently only compatible with our Monster Lite Series uprights, or The Strip®. Do not attempt to mount the roller on any other type of upright.

*By adding the optional Echo GHD Stabilizer Kit to an order, you will have an additional method for reducing any unwanted movement or rocking of the Echo GHD during use. The adjustable kit can be mounted to any Monster Lite upright, or to a wall using the Rogue mounting accessory The Strip®. There are 12 adjustment settings 1" on center, but the angle at which you set up the kit can allow for many more custom adjustments. A detent pin is included.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The pad alone is worth it So I stupidly bought a Titan rack instead of a Rogue meaning I couldn't use the foot roller assembly. I bought the pad anyway thinking I could rig something up. Just having the pad on the floor and using a load barbell with a bar pad I'm able to do GHR's (much, much, much easier on my knees than Nordic curls), back extensions, GHR situps with ease. The unadvertised part, which is probably the best part, is the back therapy this adds. I put the pad on some pull boxes so the hump is elevated, position the hump right under my ribs and fold over it. The stretch/decompression I'm able to get is just as intense as using the special beds that fold at the chiropractor's office. This function alone is worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only thing better is an actual GHD Solid product and super sturdy. Fantastic if soace is an issue. Only gripe is the difficulty with doing GHRs. I always wondered why there were only photos of people doing GHD sit-ups and none of people doing glute ham raises. Now I know why. The stabilizer thingy doesn't screw onto the box so ithe unit will slide during sets of GHRs unless there's something in front of it. The box doesn't move during sit ups (for me) so I only needed to modify it for GHRs. Here was my fix: drilled two holes, looped a piece of paracord, attached a carabiner and chain to the box and strip. You have to experiment with the chain length to find your optimal distance for GHRs but that's trivial. When you're done with GHRs, unclip the carabiner and the only modification to the box is a loop of string that won't get in the way during box jumps. Overall, if space is an issue get this. If not, I would go with a dedicated GHD (from Rogue of course)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Quality I bought the entire GHD system (pad, rollers, stabilizer bar, box, and The Strip). Everything is of very high quality. The pad is very comfortable even when you're suffering during a workout. If you're installing this onto studs, its a little involved. However, You can do it in a couple of hours. Overall, I'm very impressed. It's a lot of money, and a decent amount of time to install the ghd, but I think it's worth it. You can tell that it's not cheaply made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Even Better Way to Save Space A GHD was the one much needed addition to my home gym. Having installed the Rogue folding rack, I saw that the Matador dip attachment provides a perfectly stable, level shelf. Mounted at 24" it lines up with my 24" Plyo box, allowing me to set the Echo GHD right on top (strapped to a 3/4" piece of plywood). The only problem was when mounted to the rack, it took more room than I wanted for my small gym space. Add the "Strip" on the wall and problem solved! 2 simple clamps tighten everything up, plenty stable for my 205lb. self.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Garage Gymer Input Rogue, this design is great! I'm sure the quality is top notch just like the rest of your products. Like many others I have bought a S1 squat rack, because I'm on a budget but want the best equipment out there. Please consider designing this so it can bolted into the walls with lag bolts, I think this would attract more of the S Series and Monster Rack customers. I'm just assuming that people who have a rig are mostly gym/box owners or Rich Froning, and they already have bought standard GHDs. But, this is a first world problem, and I'm just bummed I can't get one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Idea, but.....!? What about a 1 to 3 foot segment of 2x3 or 3x3 11 gauge steel from a rig/rack that can be lag bolted to the wall? That way this GHD can be used in a different location of your home gym where there is not a rig/rack present.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Garage Piece I own Got the 3x3 Echo GHD for Christmas. I had it attached to my MLW rig and it worked like a charm. I have since purchased the 3x3 strip and have it attached to that now. I absolutely love this thing. It's a huge space saver. It's easy to assemble. The only thing I would reccemend is like I did I reinforced the stud I put the strip on for it w/ a 2x6. Since the box I use it w/ I made myself and is heavy as heck, the strip made more sense so I don't have to move it as much. This is another great quality product by Rogue and an absolute must have for the home gym. I also have the stabilizer as well. Not a whole lot of movement w/ out it but def. a difference w/ it on. The best thing about this is it allows me to do reverse hypers as well.
