Rogue Kettlebell 2.0 - Powder Coat

The Rogue Kettlebell 2.0 is cast in Wisconsin and available here in an exclusive, limited-run series, with eight weight increments ranging from 9 LBS to 62 LBS.

These KBs feature the same Class 30 Grey Iron construction as our Ohio-made Rogue Kettlebells, but with a slightly different casting design—including smaller weight indications (in LB and KG) debossed on a flat, machined back portion of the bell. The finish is a matte black powder coat that holds chalk well and also maintains the natural textured grip of the casting.

What Sets Rogue’s Powder Coat Kettlebell 2.0 Apart:

Material Class 30 Grey Iron Hard, robust material manages surface wear better over time and has superior vibration and sound dampening properties.
Finish Matte Black Powder Coat Thin coating to keep natural textured feel of the casting; holds chalk and offers good resistance against scratches, chipping, and fading.
Gloss Approx. 10 GU Rating Semi Gloss reading but on the matte end of the spectrum.

The Rogue Kettlebell 2.0 is part of a growing line-up of American-made KBs we’ve developed with foundries and manufacturers from throughout the Midwest, including the ductile iron Rogue Kettlebell - E-Coat (cast in Michigan) and the Rogue Kettlebell Powder Coat (cast in Ohio).

For additional American-made Rogue KBs, see the ductile iron Rogue Kettlebell - E-Coat..

Key Features of the Rogue Kettlebell 2.0 - Powder Coat

  • 1Durable Gray Iron

    All variants of this kettlebell are produced in a Wisconsin foundry and cast from Class 30 Grey Iron; the same highly durable cast iron used in industrial strength frying pans, manhole covers, diesel engine blocks, gearboxes, and machine tool parts. A harder material than ductile iron, grey iron manages surface wear particularly well over time, and has excellent sound and vibration dampening properties.

  • 2Machining & Finish

    After casting, each Rogue Kettlebell is machined to create a flat, no-wobble base and to meet a strict weight tolerance. As a unique feature to this series, the back of the KB is also cast flat in the center, where the debossed weight indications are added. The front face of the bell has a fully rounded surface and features debossed Rogue branding. We use a thin, semi-gloss black powder coat finish with these KBs (10 GU Rating), which helps maintain more of the original texture, feel, and grip of the casting. The powder coat is also good for holding chalk and for preventing scratches, chips, and fading over regular use.

  • 3Wide Selection

    Whether you’re purchasing a single set of KBs for your garage gym or outfitting a large facility, this limited-run series of Rogue Powder Coat Kettlebells is available in a wide range of weight increments to suit most goals—from lightweight beginner bells (starting at 9LB / 4KG) up to 62 LBS / 28 KG. The handle diameters, noted below, range from 1.2” to 1.5”. Please Note: The actual weight of each kettlebell is designed to match the KG weight. So for example, 35LB E-Coat Kettlebell is actually spec'd to weigh exactly 16KG with a +3% / -0% tolerance.
    Rogue E-Coat Kettlebell Handle Diameters:
    9LB, 13LB, 18LB:: 1.2"
    26LB: 1.4"
    35LB, 44LB, 53LB, 62LB:: 1.5"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kettlebell 2.0 - Powder Coat 24kg Received the 24kg a few weeks ago, and was impressed with the overall quality ! As advertised it does "take chalk well" and just feels 'right' in the hand. I own and usually use 'competition' style K'bells, but wanted to try out a powder-coated 'hardstyle' K'bell for a change of pace. Liked it so much I grabbed a 44kg today while they're still available.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First Kettlebell I'm happy to add kettlebell exercises to my routine. Must admit that I expected a bit better quality control on the logo, looks like a factory second but it doesn't affect my ability to work up a decent sweat. Might be a bigger deal to Rogue if this was for use in a gym and they wanted people to see the company name.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing quality and attention to detail This foundry is doing it right. Just got my 16kg today and it's a work of art. Absolute only downsides are a couple spots with thicker coating that I'm sure will sand right off anyways. Really good feel to them, similar to e-coat but with juust a bit more texture. Haven't chalked it yet, but it looks like it's going to take to it really well. I'm definitely ordering more of these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional kettlebell! Just got mine delivered and I love the texture of the coating. It's a little more glossy than normal so it's smooth but still textured, not slippery like some enamel coated bells and not rough like some of the cheap powder coated ones. I don't imagine this will tear up my hands at all and it feels great during swings and cleans to the rack position. Weight is right on the money (at least with a cheap scale), it looks exactly as pictured, and has no casting defects. Awesome kettlebell!
