CUSTOM CERAKOTE COLOR OPTIONS
1

CUSTOM CERAKOTE COLOR OPTIONS

This is our first pull-up bar available in exclusive Cerakote color finishes. Cerakote is used widely in the gun industry for its remarkable durability in thin applications, and it delivers superb abrasion/wear/corrosion resistance over time—100X that of standard black zinc. Match your bar to your existing rack, a team color scheme, etc.

A stainless steel version is available at a reduced price, and does NOT include the Rogue logo.

KNURL OPTION
2

KNURL OPTION

Both the Cerakote and stainless steel Socket Pull-Up Bar can be ordered in your choice of a Smooth (no knurl) or Knurled version. The knurled bar features a smooth center portion that’s 17.4" wide, with dual knurl marks on each end that match the spacing on standard Olympic and Powerlifting barbells. The knurl pattern is firm enough for a reliable added grip, but non-abrasive.

QUALITY ROGUE CONSTRUCTION
3

QUALITY ROGUE CONSTRUCTION

The Monster Socket Pull-Up Bar is a single, solid round bar, precision machined in the USA with US steel using 7-gauge steel construction. It’s compatible with any 43" space on a Monster Series rack or rig, and is equipped with a pair of durable mounting sockets to insure its stability after installation. Two button-head screws lock the bar into the sockets to prevent spinning (a 7/32” allen wrench is required to tighten), and all needed hardware is provided and finished in Bright Zinc. The combined weight of the pull-up bar and sockets (excluding the hardware) is 16LB.

INTERCHANGEABILITY
4

INTERCHANGEABILITY

Customers wishing to purchase multiple Socket Pull-Up Bars of different finishes can swap out one bar for another inside any compatible rack/rig. This allows multiple athletes to switch out bars with/without knurling, or to change colors if a certain team is coming in to train. The bar will need to be dis-assembled from the rack before making a swap.

Come on Rogue
I like aggressive knurling on a barbell, but the knurling on these really is too much. The problem is that the smooth option offers no grip. It's a great system otherwise, I just really wish Rogue would dial the knurling down a bit.

The bar and sockets are built well. I went with red, it is bright, but I’ll get used to it. I did ask one of the chat specialists if the knurling is similar to Ohio bar and was told yes. It is not close. This bar is much more aggressive than my bar and my socket curl pull up bar. Not sure how long it will take to get used the knurl. 235 lbs doesn’t feel too good to hang on it. Would recommend going the smooth route.

Monster socket pull up bar
I got the smooth style. I'm glad I did. It's not too slick to hold onto. I'm able to do some hanging ab work on it without ripping my hands up. I had to contact Rogue because they forgot to send the button bolts with it. They sent me replacements right away. It's a nice addition for my RM4 rack as it breaks up the colors.

Boneyard Bar
Bought a Boneyard pull up bar and it was a great addition to my backyard rig. Although boneyard, I could not find any blemishes whatsoever. I highly recommend Rogue for their services and products. I would recommend not getting the knurled version unless you do not plan to do any kipping motion or you are wearing grips.

Smooth or Knurled?
I got the smooth Cerakote bar with my RML rack, and the grip is quite nice. Initially found some imperfections in the coating, but Rogue immediately sent me a replacement bar that felt perfect. Now I'm wondering if the knurled version will feel better or lead to higher efficiency, may be getting another bar.
