Rubber Tile 24"x24"x1.5"

Available to order as a pair or in multi-packs of 6, 8, 12, and 16, these heavy-duty rubber flooring tiles can be versatile additions to any gym. Use them to build a lifting platform; as a landing pad for atlas stones; or to adjust the height on your box squats or plyo box jumps. Available in your choice of a smooth or crumb finish.

Each individual 28 LB tile measures 24” x 24” x 1.5” thick, and is manufactured from a 100% recycled SBR rubber backing, topped with a recycled SBR/EPDM wear layer. The waffled pattern on the base helps prevent sliding/movement, and the strength of the material not only protects your flooring and equipment, but can also help deaden the impact and reduce some of the noise as you train.

Common Set-Ups::

  • 8 Tiles = 4’ x 8’ Platform
  • 12 Tiles = 6’ x 8’ Platform
  • 16 Tiles = 8’ x 8’ Platform

Rubber Tile 24"x24"x1.5" is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality These seem expensive, especially with shipping, but they are very thick, dense and high quality. I have just 3 squares which I use for deadlifting (I place two underneath where the plates hit and stand on the other one so that I have level height). When I am done, I push them under a couch. The rubber is dense enough so that I do not feel any squish under my feet when I press down through the lift and it absorbs the shock well when I put the weight down. I do also use bumpers and am not lifting massive weight (sub 300 lbs currently), but I still want to protect my basement floor and keep things relatively quiet early in the morning or at night. To me, the 3 squares I got seem a reasonable price to achieve this. I like them enough that if I end up with a lot of spare cash I will buy a bigger set and use to fill out one the Rogue platforms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile and Heavy Duty I shopped around and I’m so glad I settled on these tiles instead of Horse Stall Mats. I move them out on my drive way if I want to lift out in the sun and piece it back together on my platform when I lift in my garage. I stack them when I want to do deficit lifts as well. Easy to clean and it’s a great way to make my equipment last and protect my flooring. No rubber smell at all for me. Worth every penny and built to LAST!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great flooring if you need some flexibility I bought six of these tiles about a month ago and am very satisfied with the purchase. I work out in a carport at home, and store these in a cabinet near the carport. These tiles are perfect for me to pull out for a quick workout and then store again so they can stay out of the elements. If I had purchased a heavier and larger horse stall mat, this would not be as easy to do! The quality of the rubber matting is also much better than what you'd find in a horse stall mat. You can tell that these are designed for a gym environment. The matting is thick and really absorbs a lot of force from dropped weights, jumping, etc, and the top surface is flat, smooth, and has the perfect amount of "grip". Additionally, because these are tiles, I can stack a couple of them on top of each other easily if needed for different movements that require an elevated surface or for raising the height of box jumps.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Floor Protection These are good mats for protecting your concrete floor, but don’t expect them to significantly reduce the noise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my compact portable deadlift platform I have limited space in my home gym, and I needed two mats to book-end my homemade 1.5 inch thick platform. These fit the bill perfectly. I just drop them next the platform, and I’m good to go. When not in use, I lean the platform and mats against the wall behind the door leading into my gym, so that they’re nicely tucked away. These are very sturdy, heavy duty mats that give me complete confidence that I’m protecting my floor, which is already covered by very dense 3/8” rubber flooring. My gym is a converted bedroom with hardwood flooring over a cement slab. So I wanted to make sure that I wasn’t risking damaging either the hardwood or slab underneath. I thought about using 3/4” mats, with a wood base, but decided this would be a simpler, better option for my needs. With these in addition to the gym flooring, I don’t worry about having to be extra gentle when dropping / setting down the barbell. An interesting feature of the mats is their waffle like pattern on the base, with 1 inch square cutouts about 3/8” deep. Rogue doesn’t post a picture of the bottom, so just be aware that the bottom is not perfectly smooth like the top. I don’t know the purpose with certainty, but I assume the spaces created by the cutouts, can actually help dissipate some of the force absorbed by the mat, thereby further reducing the energy that could be transferred to the floor. My pure conjecture of course.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy Mats Fit the Bill I bought two mats to place under my trap bar so as to protect the floor. They fit the bill perfectly: sturdy, good size, easy to move around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Sound and Shock I previously used 3/4" stall mats on my basement floor for deadlifts. Those worked just fine as far as I could tell. I just decided that I wanted something a bit quieter and something to protect the concrete floor a bit as I increased in weight. These tiles have done an amazing job at removing quite a bit of the sound (it's way quieter now) and they reduce a lot of the shock. I'm very happy with the purchase. They work better than I thought they would.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect platform I just received 6 tiles today. I immediately tried them out along with my new deadlift bar jack. They set perfectly together, no shifting, and absorb the weights better than I thought possible. Fantastic platform which I’ll use for low bar squats and deadlifts.
