Monster Lite Spotter Arms

Compatible with all Monster Lite racks, Rogue’s heavy-duty 24” Safety Spotter Arms are designed to protect both the weightlifter and the bar itself.

When adding spotter arms to an existing rack, dependability is always the optimum word-- particularly for athletes training alone in a home gym or garage gym. This is why Rogue manufactures its Monster Lite Spotter Arms from 3x3” 11-gauge steel tubing, with welded-on end-plates for additional safety and specially designed hitch-pins to lock the spotters in place. The arms feature a UHMW plastic insert on top to protect  the knurling of your bars.

Like all products in the Monster Lite line, these spotters feature 5/8” holes and a 5/8” pin, rather than the 1” varieties of the standard Monster Spotter Arms.

High Quality - But.........
These are high quality like everything else at Rogue. HOWEVER they will not work on a fold back wall mount system!! The back plate is so long it interferes with the stringer bolts and can't be mounted low enough to be a bench press spotter. An easy redesign would take care of this.

Thank you for posting your feedback on the SAML-24s. These will work on a Monster Lite Fold Back Rack. Please ensure your set up is checked by a contractor. From there, you will need to orient the height of your crossmembers in such a way that allows you to still have room for your desired uses.

Good. Not great.
Bought these a week ago. Very solid and well built. Good for lifting alone. I use them as an extended J cup to rest my bar on. The bar knurling started to transfer to the plastic immediately. So not the same quality plastic as the J cups. Packaging for shipping wasn’t enough to complete with UPS. Item was mildly damaged and the package was open when put on my doorstep.

Md resident here, safety first
First off Rogue May be pricey, but they sure stand behind their product. The finish and packaging of everything I ordered including these spotter arms were spot on. It’s what I expect for the price I pay. I paid for premium, and I got premium. Wonderful. Get these for safety especially if your by yourself like me

Strong but badly designed
I have a wall mounted Rogue power rack which has 2 large bolts on the lower part of the rack. These bolts prevent use of the spotter arms at the height I wanted for rack pulls. When I do slot the spotter arms higher, the hole for the stabilising pin doesn’t line up with the holes in the rack. Also, the horizontal arms from the wall prevent putting the spotter arms low enough.

Spotter Arm use with Wall Mounted or Fold Back Racks will need to keep crossmember heights in mind during set up. Our team is reaching out to you now to gather more information on your use-case.

Multi-Purpose!
Well built and solid. I use them at the bottom, middle, and top of the rack for cable use as well. Still tweaking the 550 cord but it gets the job done.

Quality Control didn't go through these
One side was so tight to go in that it scratched up my rack. I had to put it on a vise and open it up about 1/4" for it to slide in.

Poor Quality
I’ve bought these same arm several years ago. I was expecting the same built quality. I was disappointed when I took them out of the box. The plastic used on these newer versions looked much cheaper and didn’t cover as much of the arms as my past ones did. Very disappointed in Rogue for what seems like cutting corners to save money. Btw the price is still the same even though the quality is not
