Schiek 2004 Lifting Belt

The American-made Schiek 2004 Lifting Belt is designed to match the natural contours of the body, with a patented cone-shape to support the downward angle of the lower back and a wide front to offer maximum abdominal support. Lightweight and less bulky than traditional leather weightlifting belts, the Schiek 2004 utilizes a stainless steel buckle and “Slide N’ Grip” VELCRO® brand fasteners to give athletes an exact, fully customizable fit. Tighten or loosen the belt quickly and easily when moving from heavy lifting movements to lighter work. Schiek’s hip-and-rib contour thins at the sides to keep the friction to a minimum, and a 2-year warranty adds some extra peace of mind.

Before ordering your Schiek 2004 Support Belt, be sure you follow the sizing chart below. Choosing the right size is extremely important in ensuring that your belt is doing its job as intended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite lifting belt These belts are comfortable and give great support and easy to get on and off. But THE killer feature is once you have it on, you can tighten it just by pulling both ends which is super convenient. It uses a one-way velcro allowing it to only move one way when adjusting. Super cool. I was really impressed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lifting Belt Let me first say that this is a great piece of gear. It is a must have for anyone doing continuous compound lifting. If there were one thing to improve upon the design, it needs to have stronger VELCRO. This belt is great for minimum to medium support. If you like your belt tight. tight. tight. like I do for heavier lifts, get a leather belt with belt loops. LIGHT WEIGHT!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME BELT - CROSSFIT MUST! Very solid belt and comfortable, by far the best! Had the same problem also with getting it tight enough. Found out there is a little trick to getting it super tight and adding extra compression. The label on the belt actually shows you how to do it. You hold the inner tongue of the belt with thumb and index finger then pull the strap to tighten down, rock solid and problem solved. Had a friend hand me the Schiek 3004 model and liked it even more! Should have upgraded right away! MADE IN THE USA ALSO!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not good ! I bought this belt a few weeks ago and had it shipped all the way from US to india only to be really disappointed. Although the size and quality were fine, the fit and hold were very disappointing as the belt kept riding high everytime i bent to squat or do dead lifts making it completely redundant. Would not recommend it at all ...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality I really like this belt. It fits the body well, the quality of materials and craftsmanship is really good and it's very different from everyone elses belt, especially, here in Switzerland. My only complaint is that it's probably 1"-2" bigger than the sizing table suggests. Had I been located in the States, I probably would have returned it for a smaller size. As it is, I had to add some extra velcro to the belt to hold the extra strap from flopping around.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super Comfortable Most comfortable belt on the market. Kind of a pain though with the double closure. Really tough to get the velcro closure super tight and then impossible to add any compression with the strap. I love it for cleans and oly lifting because the hips are cut away on the sides so it never digs into you. If you can afford it buy this belt. Otherwise go for the 4" Valeo for $20 or the 5" Harbinger. Can't speak to the Rogue nylon ones.
