You have to rub the block for a long time to get even a tiny amount of chalk on your hand. They're really hard! That can be a good thing if say you want to do grippers in the living room without getting chalk everywhere. But in my gym, I have cheap chalk, I end up with chalk on the floor but at least I can get a decent amount of chalk on my hand with one swipe. But when I go to the bar with my grip enthusiast friends and bring grippers, I put a piece of Spider Chalk on the table because I don't want the staff to get mad at us for getting chalk everywhere. Don't get me wrong, these are a good product and I've ordered it twice but if you're not worried about a bit of chalk on the floor, go with the cheap stuff. For other grip tasks like doing a pinch block or hub, you're better off with cheap stuff otherwise you'll spend an eternity getting a sufficient amount of chalk on each fingertip. It's easier to get plenty of chalk everywhere you need it with cheap chalk and rub the excess off on the hub/block than spending 5 minutes rubbing a piece of spider chalk in all the places you need to.

For as great as I hear this stuff is, less brittle than other blocks, etc, it came with chunks broken off and has continued to break when applying to my hands. Also needs to reapply every few sets. I'll stick to the Spider liquid chalk, and probably try to make liquid chalk with what I have left of this.

Does the job well. I’m happy with its performance.

I have used a lot of different chalk and Spider Chalk hands down out performs all of them. The blocks are massive and do not fall apart. This product really stays on your hands

I was exposed to Spider Chalk a couple years ago at a competition called The Granite Games. I have hooked every since. We also become an affiliate of theirs. I like the blocks personally as they last longer and don't crumble when chalking the hands!!

These blocks are the real deal. Hold up well, don't crumble easily, and sticks to clothing such as the back of a shirt for heavy squats. Love how these come in a pack and last forever! Been using just 1 of the mega blocks for myself and my wife for a month now wkth very frequent use and it is still holding, no oun intended, strong!

Almost used first full block and really like chalk really adds two my grip strength do not like or believe in using lifting straps just my opinion an with this chalk no need for them I lift very heavy an do high reps so very pleased with this chalk.Little messy but really all chalk is
