Replacement cable
This cable is a very good one. It’s the second replacement I’ve bought. My only complaint is that the adjustment stop on this cable has an allen head that is so small no one has one to fit it. You have to cut it off and replace it with a permanent crimp fitting. The normal screw fitting won’t work on these cables. I forgot about this from the first time I bought this or probably would have done something different. Rogue should send a tool with it for as much as they charge for their products.

Poor quality and functionality - need a .035” hex
Do Not Buy; it requires a small hex screw driver that has to be brought separately. The cable is not coated as it came with the original rope. Ineffective to the core.

Second time bought..flown off the handle !
It was the second time I bought this cable, the second time I got it covered also with tape all over the screw but both times it got flown off and now I’m without cable for second time.

Hex Key Woes
I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased. I saw the hex key note, but since I have a full set of them I figured NBD. What I didn’t know was that the hex key size is ridiculously small. You don’t have it. Your hardware store doesn’t have it. It will cost you more than the cable to get that size hex key. They can charge me extra for that .75 key and I’ll be happy to pay it. You can buy screw-head clamps, but they come in different sizes. You don’t know how big this cable is, and they don’t tell you. I’m sure the cable is just fine, but the whole debacle with getting it installed just made me angry.

Great rope but no hex key!
The rope is great but coming without the hex key is not! Come on Rogue sort this out. I know it says in the product info it comes without, but finding a 0.5 hex key is impossible! Definitely don’t use on concrete otherwise you’ll go though ropes like no bodies business!
