SR Competition Cables - Stainless Steel

Worn cable? Upgrade.

SR Competition Replacement Cables are specifically designed to work with the SR line of Rogue jump ropes.

The Comp Cable is a bare, stainless steel rope which reduces cable weight and increases RPMs—a dream for double unders. The swing weight is very low and does not take much energy to turn. Please Note: This cable is recommended only for advanced athletes, and it WILL leave a mark if you miss!

Each cable includes:

  • (1) Cable with swaged end
  • (1) End cap
  • (1) Set (Adjustable) screws*

*Note: Customers can also separately purchase a 5-pack of Adjustable Screws. This 5 Pack does NOT qualify for the 3 Free shipping deal. This will require a .035” size hex key.

Important: All cables should be used on a rubber/smooth surface.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great rope.. Horrible screw I bought this rope to compare how it would go up against an RPM rope, and the rope itself is good, but the screw that is used to size the rope is horrible. I have no idea why they would pick a hex screw that was .035". It's hard to find an allen wrench that size and when you do it's so small you can't tighten it up without breaking the allen wrench. Rogue should definitely reconsider that screw!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I got this as a replacement cable for my RPM 3.0 Session. Works great. Word of advice though, once it’s cut to length and inserted into the handle, tightening the nut caused the individual wires to fray out a bit, making it harder to get the rubber cap on the exposed end. So put the rubber cap on before tightening the nut if you are putting it on that sort of speed rope handle.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great for double-unders but doesn't stay on handle This is great for double-unders—as long as it stays on the handle. But twice now, it has flown off the handle as I was jumping. I am planning to send it back and try a new one. It requires a tiny allen wrench, but this does not come with the cable. You have to find it on your own. The problem may be that the bolt may be too small to properly pinch the cable in place. The wrench is also so small that I am afraid of breaking it as I tighten the bolt. Weird design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice replacement cable for speed rope I bought this to replace the original cable on my SR-2A Ballistic Speed Rope. This cable is heavier and faster than the original, but it makes double-unders even easier. I noticed more fatigue in my arms because of the increased weight of the cable, but the payoff for faster DU times is well worth it. I'll buy another when this one wears out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best cable for sure I’ve had mine for 4 years and still going strong. I’ve used it mostly on rubber mats but a couple Times on smooth concrete. Doesn’t kink up like the nylon cables!
